Fundamentals of Electromagnetic Force

In a permanent magnet, magnetic flux typically flows from the north pole to the south pole. When a conductor—something that readily conducts heat or electricity—is placed within the magnetic field (magnetic flux) generated by this permanent magnet, an electric current is induced, and a force arises as soon as the current begins to flow. The force produced by the interaction between this magnetic field and the electric current is what we call “electromagnetic force.”

Operating principle of the motor

A motor is the common name for an electric motor. Its operating principle is based on electromagnetic induction: a current-carrying conductor experiences a force when placed in a magnetic field, causing it to move. The coils you mentioned are wound from enameled wire with copper or aluminum conductors; these are called stator windings and are typically made of copper‑enameled wire, arranged symmetrically within the stator slots. The rotating part is called the rotor, which consists of aluminum bars forming the rotor winding. When a three‑phase symmetrical current is passed through the stator windings, a rotating magnetic field is generated. The rotor conductors cut across this rotating magnetic field, inducing an electromotive force. Under the influence of this induced voltage, current flows in the rotor conductors, and the rotor current interacts with the rotating magnetic field…
