Operating principle of the motor

A motor is the common name for an electric motor. Its operating principle is based on electromagnetic induction: a current-carrying conductor experiences a force when placed in a magnetic field, causing it to move. The coils you mentioned are wound from enameled wire with copper or aluminum conductors; these are called stator windings and are typically made of copper‑enameled wire, arranged symmetrically within the stator slots.
